4.21 won't render timeline

After updating to 4.21 Daz refuses to render a timeline now to a movie or image sequence. After the initial one, it stops and a pop-up says there was an error during rendering. I updated all my drivers for both cards I use, a 2070 super and a 3060. 20GB of vram total so it should be plenty. Currently I can render each individual frame of the timeline one by one and plug them into sony Vegas to stitch them into a move that is very time-consuming and inefficient. any suggestions?

  • I would think the relevant bit is

    2022-12-12 07:31:59.919 [INFO] :: Rendering frame 1
    2022-12-12 07:34:11.068 [WARNING] :: ..\..\..\..\..\src\pluginsource\DzIrayRender\dzneuraymgr.cpp(369): Iray [WARNING] - API:DATABASE ::   1.0   API    db   warn : Transaction is released without being committed or aborted. Automatically aborting.

    but it isn't, to my eyes, terribly informative. It does, however, look like a bug (whether Iray or DS) so I would suggest reporting it via a ticket, attaching the log file and pointing out the section I quoted.

    So it's been over a week since I submitted the ticket and no response, does anyone have an inkling of what I should try since Daz support doesn't respond? I'm losing a massive amount of time having to render animations frame by frame manually as I can't set it to render them while I'm away or asleep.

    Would this solve the problem?
