Iray viewport not working

Hey guys,

My Iray Viewport is normally pretty good, such that I can work in it while doing basic character creation (make-up, clothes, sometimes even hair). Now it seems stuck and shows my character off and on sporadically. another person suggested it was the SubD but I reduced that to 2 and I am still having an issue. My dxdiag says the card is fine and I downloaded the latest Nvidia studio driver for a 3070. I attached a screenshot of what I'm seeing in the viewport. This issue came up today and the scene was working fine the night before. Was there some update I am not aware of?

Now it's flickering on and off between Iray and Smooth shaded. What's going on?
