Quick way to apply 8.1 poses to 8?

I just got some poses for G8.1 and I want to apply them to some base G8 characters I have without having to move the characters themselves over to G8.1.

When I apply the pose it throws an error on G8 but works fine on G8.1 so it's not one of those that works with both. 

Is there a quick + free way to get G8.1 poses to apply to G8 figures? I know expressions don't convert, but I don't care about those, just position of the limbs and such.  Thanks!

UPDATE: Forrtunately the poses in question are not compressed, and opening the DUF and replacing  8_1 with 8 seems to do the trick. So not a super-quick solve, but a pretty quick solve. Anyway, I solved it!
