Fit G9 Clothing to G8

There seems to be a fair bit of info about backwards compatability with G9, but I want to go the other way!

Does anyone know if there is an easy way to fit G9 clothing to G8? (I can't afford to invest in a new Generation yet, but there are several new clothing items for G9 that I'd really like to be able to use on the older G8 figures.)

    There are no autofit clones provided to go from G9 to earlier figures yet.
    You could try creating your own clones though: https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/599231/making-clones-of-g9-tutorial

    Daz Studio cannot out of the box autofit G9 clothing to G8.

    But you can make a clone, and then you can use autofit.

    There is a guide how to make clones in the Freebies section.

    Or else you have to wait till somebody makes a product doing it.

    Thanks for the suggestions. I'll see if I can get my head around making my own clones, but I suspect I'm going to have to wait for someone (more skilful than me) to do it! smiley

    When you G8 clothes and fit them to G9 figure you should get the autofit dialog to convert them, the required clones are included in G9 base.
