How do you un-shader something?

I'm trying to get eyes to look better in Iray. I'll assign a shader, but sometimes it won't work. So how to I undo the shader? It's not like I can see it in the Scene panel. Where do I delete a shader or revert to whatever was normal.

    Reload the previous shader.

It doesn't work for everything, but I use Edit > Undo if I want to step back alot.

I suppose the answer is to apply another shader. I do wish there was a shader-reset button.

What are the best shaders for Iray and eyeballs?

Did you try what I suggested?

Edit...Undo only works if that is the last thing you did.  If I make a series of adjustments and then do a render. I dont want to undo everything to get back to my eye-ball-shader adjustment.  Half the time I can't remember what shader I applied and there is no apparent way to select and item and see what shader is affecting it.

You can determine which shader is being used by selecting a surface, then looking at the top of the Edit tab in the Surfaces pane.   (see screenshot).

Of course it may not be as simple as just changing the shader back, because you might also need to re-apply settings whatever settings you originally had that applied to the original shader that are no longer there with the new shader.

The Surface pane shows the shader being used at the top left when a surface is selected.

    Thanks. Found that.
