Question about posing

Hello - I am brand new.  I notice that if I creat a pose for an animation, and then I insert a pre-made animation such as walking into the timeline, the pose that I created is erased.  The model assumes some weird position until the "walking" animation comes up in the time line.  The the character starts walking and usually on her heals.  Is this just the way it is?  Is there a way to fix this??  I was thinking I could animate a pose and then insert - walking and all would be right with the world.  Am I doing something wrong??

Thanks

Can you please post a screenshot of what you are seeing?

What character are you using, most (if not all) of the Aniblocks were made for Victoria 4, and they need to use a foot fix whne used with Genesis.

So do those pre-made animations work with the free download characters.  I would like to be able to make animations and use the pre-made ones such as walking without them erasing the poses that I have made.

    Thanks

When I first came across this I looked up the documentation for aniMate 2 which helps explain how to convert keyframes you log onto the Daz studio timeline into your own aniblocks, that way you can place your aniblock before or after the walking one you are using and aniMate should do the rest for you, I'm not at my PC at the moment or I'd send you the link to the documentation or screenshot some examples for you, I'll do that later if you haven't solved it by then. Hope this helps in the meantime.
