Geography Questions: Stone Bridges
Here's the scene I'm trying to create:
There's a large crater filled with water and above the crater are multiple "finger-like" bridges of stone connecting one side to the other. I feel like this should be fairly simple to do - I've googled and youtubed and watched some amazing videos, but none of the processes seem particularly graceful or intuitive. (http://www.bryce-tutorials.info/bryce-tutorials.html is awesome and has great information and examples!). Now I'm looking to the community. Can anyone suggest a good tutorial on this type of setup, specifically the stone bridges?

Depending on the size of your large crater Stone bridges are going to need supports at regular intervals. Even a simple stone bridge across a river has supports along it's length. Like these ones http://www.daz3d.com/bridges-for-bryce.
Close! Just looking for them to be "stone arches" though. I appreciate the feedback, Chohole!
oh you mean this sort of bridge
I mean like this:
OK, Now I am with you, Do you want to make it in Bryce? Or are you using something else
I'd love to make it in Bryce so that it feels seamless (I have a tiny budget); but am open for suggestions!
I would use a symmetrical lattice. Like these rock formations are made from Symlats. http://www.daz3d.com/bryce-rustic-rocks Have you done anything with the terrain editor in Bryce yet.
If you need any more help, bear with me. It is almost midnight where I am, so I will be back tomorrow.
Those are very pretty rocks :)
They are indeed, I use them lots. I am a great fan of Estevez. He does some packs that include rocks, trees and plants, and also full scenes for you to play with and dissect, They are great fu for a new user to play with. This is an image that I did using parts of this pack http://www.daz3d.com/bryce-scenes-mountains-and-rocks
