Nimue Hair color problem

I picked up Nimue Hair from the Flash sale overnight and noticed no matter what color I apply with the accompanying mats that the hair remains shades of Gray. Anybody else have this problem or know what could be causing it? Even if I apply BLACK, it just comes out dark gray. I looked at the Product wiki/document and nothing shed any light there.Only once have I ever had problems with hair, this is the second and I'm baffled. I experimented with Iray Uber with one time NOT applied and one time WITH Iray uber applied. It didn't do anything for the color. It's also not a problem with the light, light types & strengths seemed to make no difference.

I have seen gamma errors in many AprilYSH hair materials. I don't have this hair product, but try this:

Select the diffuse channel hair color map in the surfaces tab. Right click on it and select Image Editor. If the gamma value is 1, that is WRONG. Change it to 2.2 (or change it to 0, which causes DS to automatically select 2.2 for a diffuse map). Repeat this for the diffuse channel map of each hair surface. (The gamma for bump maps should be 1, so don't change that value.) This has fixed similar issues with other hair products for me.

I was curious if I could replicate your issue but couldn't.

Load G2F Giselle character, load Nimue Hair, apply pink color preset, setup Iray with an HDR and rendered for 5 minutes.  No Iray shaders were used.  I applied various hair color materials that were prefixed with 10 and 20 and had no issues with rendering the color changes.   I always reset the Iray render settings as I tend to fiddle with the settings from scene to scene.
