Billy T Custom Bikes

Hi,

First  and formost, is Billy T OK? I haven't see any updated products for ages.

I am wondering, are there any Iray textures for Billy T Custom bike 1.2, 2.2 and 3.2 refer to https://www.daz3d.com/custom-bike-type-1-2 https://www.daz3d.com/custom-bike-type-2-2 and https://www.daz3d.com/custom-bike-type-3-2 although not perfect (I own one of these in reality) it is the closest I have seen made available for classic Harley Davidsons. The existing textures don't work well in Daz, even 3DL.

This is the style I like. Rendered in Poser

I have been inspired by a person who offered to help. THANK YOU. If you wish to identiy yourself here, fine, I will not. I used  RSSY 3DL to Iray. Then I used Shader presets, Iray, DAZ Uber and a mix of Metal-Aluminum-Brushed and Metal-Aluminimun-Polished and Metal-Aluminum-Satin plus base colour for the vaious blacks. It is a work in progress and I like the results. The thing with Billy T bikes is that it allows many combinations of bile to be built.

Love that bike set. Way back in the day I reskinned one with all new metal and paint materials in Poser 10 or 12, with ray-traced reflections instead of maps. The only part I think would be an issue for DS is the tires the surface deatil is a displacement map, not actual geometry.

    Your converted renders look good.

  • while I don't have the bikes he certainly made good stuff back in the day

because none of his clothes are welded converting them is hard but not impossible

they look good enough to be worth the effort

Thank you for your replies. I am very new to Iray due yo a recent PC upgrade. Your are correct rrward as you can see in the Poser render, looking at the mufflers, you can see detail that is not in my converted render.
