Clothing Morphs

Is there a way (or ways) to create your own custom for clothing items purchased through the store?

  • Yes, make the morphs by manipulating the mesh with DForms in DAZ Studio (and then spawn a morph using the button in the DForm pane) or by exporting the mesh to OBJ and modifying that in a modeller (such as Blender or Hexagon), then use Edit>Figure>Morph Loader Pro to load the new shape as a morph (if you need the model to be posed or morphed while making your own morph you need to turn on the Reverse Deformations option in Morph Loader Pro by clicking the triangle on the morph name to expand it, then right-clicking the option). Once you have a working morph, if you want it to be available every time you load the clothing, zero it and then go to File>Save as>Support Assets>Morph Asset.

Note that a morph may not add or remove geometry, only push the existing vertices around.
