Zbrush GoZ opens new Daz instead of updating (Solved)

OK, so I got a newer PC and everything is working fine, except GoZ
From Daz to Zbrush everything is fine but, everytime I try to send my model from Zbrush back to Daz it keeps opening a new instance of Daz.
I did do a search online, tried everything I was able to find and still no luck.
Some of the things I have tried so far:
Uninstall and reinstall DAZ
Uninstall and reinstall Zbrush
(Every combination of the above, I tried - Even reboot after each Uninstall)
Uninstall GoZ using DIM
Install GoZ manually
Uninstall GoZ using Windows Apps
Goz path from Zbrush to Daz works, it just opens a new instance of Daz instead of updating the original.
I cant think of the rest of the steps I took, but I have spent the last two days trying to figure this out without luck.
Any tips, ideas... ???
Basic Info:
Daz 4.8 (64bit)
Zbrush 4r7 (64 and 32 bit - they are in the same folder 32bit - just different shortcuts)
Intel i7 - 64GB RAM - Windows10

I haven't used Zbrush and GoZ, however there is a similar problem between DAZ Studio and Bryce, and the workaround there is to start the 2nd application first (instead of whichever you normally run first that isn't working), send something basic like a cube to the first application to start the bridge in the opposite direction, THEN now that the link is established, send your object back the opposite direction. It's worth a quick try.
Thanks for the reply, sriesch
I just tried the option you provided, unfortunately is not working for me.
I still get a new session of Daz everytime I try to export from Zbrush to DAZ via GoZ.
The weird thing is that I have no problems using GoZ on Daz 4.7, is just 4.8 that gives ME that issue.
I am way to tired to think straight right now, though. I will give it another go tomorrow.
Hopefully someone else can chime in and give me another idea of where the problem could be and
how to fix it...
I apreciate your help!
Do you have more than one version of DS installed?
OK. Everything is working now.
I uninstalled everything again, both Daz and Zbrush
Backup and Clean Registry (which I had not done, for some odd reason)
Installed DAZ 4.8 using DIM
Installed GoZ using DIM
Open Daz to make sure everything is a OK
Install Zbrush
Everything is working fine now, no problems. I guess it was my fault for not cleaning the registry between installs and uninstalls (i did a lot of them trying to get GoZ to work) perhaps the references were still directing to Daz 4.7 (Which I never installed - but DIM had it listed even though there was nowhere to be found on my pc).
Thanks for the help, anyway!
Did you restart your computer and check to see if everything works? I have the same issue and I get it working by reinstalling everything. However, when I restart my system, everything is busted again. I have done the solution with the registry and no dice on my end. Hopefully this can be fixed.
Same issue here
Quick update: I realized I still had the old version of Zbrush still installed on my system, uninstalled all versions and did a full reninstall of new version as mentioned above and now all Goz is working properly also after reset ;) hope that helps
