how much is this product for you with a plus 35%? https://www.daz3d.com/ultrascenery--stone-features
the max discount would be 74%??? Can you guys confirm me?
I find it best to jiggle the cart with test items until I find prices that are satisfactory, letting the sale mechanics serve as a rough guide.
There's discounts coming from too many places (yay?), and Daz doesn't show the math in the cart, so trying to see if they're 'right' isn't usually worth the stress and effort. Punch card, special targeted offers (notification banners), combination deals (buy two get 20% off both etc), secret sale categories, Daz+ discount, coupon codes...
Instead, look at % off for each item in the final cart and buy based on if THAT price is agreeable.
Daz could clear up a lot of confusion by giving us a toggle to show the math for each item in the cart.
Any news about this?
From my experience with CS, they don't acknowledge that the punch gizmo isn't always working correctly. Would not correct the bottom line and so I returned that delightful Josie 9 mega bundle deal. Not happy with these new sales tactics.
To get the punch discounts, as best I can figure it, one has to make those over $2 purchases from any of the sale packages that actually have the punch ticket near to the header for that particular sales offer.
It shouldn't care, as long as it isn't a Gift Card you buy. That is certainly the intent. The symbols mark the offers on which the discount is valid, not what will earn the discount.
40% off then 35% off that would be 61% off in total
Are you suppose to lose a punch when you skip a day of spending money? I had two punches the other day but I didn't buy anything yesterday and now I have one now.
Yes, that is correct.
If you want the full set you should now be able to buy one, then the other and pay for only the elements you don't already own from the second - that will let you buy the whole set with the benefit of the bundle discount. It does, however, have to be done as two purchases - it can't discount with both in the cart together.
Thanks Richard that worked
Glad to see that worked.
Boy, this is one of the days where I initially had 20+ items in cart and may finall checkout with probably only 1 cheap item to preserve the punch:
Get up to 70% on (DAZ Original) Western & Out of Space items?!
Thought this did not work until I saw the smaller print reserving the max discount only to DAZ Originals. Cloud you either apply it to everythin in the category or just show DAZ originals in the category. The way it is, it is just rising expectations.
Grab Bag 2,50 - but only one I get 6.
OK, we had 1,99 in this category, we had 2,99 - so one needs to accept that prices are different. But this time you also need to get 6?
"PLUS add your Holiday Punch Card discount when you buy any New Release."
So says the not-so-fine print for today's Western and Outer Space-themed discounts.
Is this new for the sale? I haven't been paying close attention, but it seemed that on previous days the Punch Card discount (be it 10% or 35%) applied to "items featured as part of the 2022 Holiday Sale," which was pretty much everything you could reach by clicking through one of the links on the main sales page.
Edit: Not really sure how "Buy any Artist Western/Outer Space Item to get 70% off Daz Original Western/Outer Space Items" works, for that matter. Adding Space Traveller (currently in the sale at 60% off) and Space Dock (a Daz Original item that is currently 30% off, not part of the Holiday Sale) to the cart did not seem to produce a 70% value for either of them. Adding Sci-Fi Corridor 2013, a product that is not on sale at all, didn't change anything, nor did Moon Landing, nor any combination I tried.
So was I as there was nothing to indicate that it would
Reported as it only seems to be getting the punch discount.
What I get is 60% off for non-DO and the 35% punch, for a total of 74% off, with a New Release, which has been pretty standard. If I add a DO from the same list, I get the base DO 30% off, plus another 70%, plus the 35% punch for a total of 86% off (86.35).
That's another poorly worded and complicated offer. Basically you need to add a new release, a PA item from the list and a DO from the list to get the max discount (86% for + members) on the DOs.
Ok, so the recipe is 1 PA Western/Outer Space item (doesn't have to be new, but is a non-daz item) + 1 New Release/Debut New (should include Still New) + (any number of) DO items from the designated selections.
for max discount
When it's so complex that it even stumps the mods, it might be ridiculous.
Well, at times, I can be quite stumpable, so don't go by me. (Wink)
These sales kick in just after my morning coffee starts to, so I'm always stumped right off the bat.
But you're right, just shoving one of the new outfits plus a non-DO outfit from the Western category knocks the Into the West Mega Bundle down to $23. Impressive.
For me, something like that is 32$+ not calculating the other item prices. That's about a 30% difference (not 10%, not 25%, or 35%).
What is the max discount one can get on these items? I'm getting 74 off on non DO items
Thanks for checking into it! A little frustrating, even by Daz Math standards. But still, potentially some good values here.
Worth noting, too, that you can mix and match the genres= no need to go all sci-fi or all-western.
For example, I added these three items to my cart, and the 35% discount kicked in for all three.
-Wonderland (Non-Daz PA item from the Outer Space List)
-Saint Hair (New Release)
-Into the West Mega Bundle (DO from the Western list)
Total savings per item: 74%, 55%, 82%, respectively.
No, that doesn't have the full discount for the DO, it should be 86%. It only works with items from the same category. For 82% all you need is a DO and a new release in cart.
Also a happy note from me... I just used my $6.00 off on $18.00 coupon code on 8 $2.99 items and got them for $1.75 each! Only bummer for me is that my gift certificate is almost used up so I couldn't use it... Hoping for another GC sale soon... Merry Christmas to meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!
One weird note... A Halloween package??? really??? For Christmas???? Just too weird! LOL
Although the discounts were not really great, there was a Gift Card sale a few days ago. None-the-less I'm hoping for a better one before Christmas
awee... and I missed it? :(... That's what I get for going away for a day... pft... lol
btw... gift card is all gone (sighs and cries) :(.............
It lasted a couple of days but you didn't miss much. Discounts were only 10%/15% off. But I guess if you were about out of credit you might bought enough to get you through until the next sale.
