Rendering Issue

Hello:  I am brand new to this program.  Haven't a clue.  I have an imac.  Pretty new.  Just downloaded Daz3D.  Don't have any bundles - but when I try to render a pic, my computer freezes.  The little bar sits there at 0% and never moves, then the computer pretty much seizes up.  Can anyone provide any help on this issue??

    Hello:

    I am having rendering issues.  When I press render - the photo will remain at 0% and the computer will freeze.  I have a pretty new imac.  Any help?

    What are the specifications of your system? What are your render settings (Window>Panes(Tabs)>Render Settings)?

    Hello,

    First, did you render using Iray or 3Delight? (You select render engine in the Render Settings Tab). Iray is more memory intensive than 3Delight.
