Why Do Items Dissapear

What the hell is Daz doing that causes items to randomly dissapear?  50% of the time when I open Daz studio, a piece of clothing or Figure will randomly show as "item does not exist".  Is it that hard to stop this from happening? It's annoying as hell.

    The developer of said item has propably terminated their agreement with DAZ and DAZ can no longer legally sell the item.

    The question is, as far as I can tell, about content that has been purchased disappearing from Daz Studio.

    How do you install content? Do you work with Daz Studio online or off? Is your content on an internal or external drive?
