G9 Clothing and Poses

Are G9 male clothing and poses compatible with G8? Or will I need to update to G9 to use them?

On the other side, will G8 assets work with G9?

Not sure if this has been asked/answered elsewhere, my apologies.

G8 clothes can be converted to G9 with autofit, there are G8 clones included in the base G9 figure. 

There's no autofit clones provided to go from G9 to earlier figures.
You could try creating your own clones though: https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/599231/making-clones-of-g9-tutorial

Poses will also need to be converted, there are several converters available.
