Files could not be found.

All of my hard drives died recently so I had to reintall daz and redownload all of my assets and when I was done, I set up everythind the same way it was before but whenever I try to open any of my files, I always get the message that none of the files can be found. Everything in the scene is just a grey box.

Help please.

  • I did try to fix it by pressing F2 and setting the proper content directory, but nothing changed even tho the proper directory was set up all along.

  • Tried to cahnge all of my library paths to the only one I got and it didn't work.

What way did you install your content?

    Manual

Connect (logged in to Studio and installed inside running Studio)

    Daz Install Manager (DIM)

    or

    Daz Central ?

Have you checked to make sure you didn't nest the folders accidently? Common problem with manual installs.

also, do you have a screen shot of the error?

Is Studio looking in the correct folder on the correct drive?

just a note, don't login to Studio if you aren't using Connect. That can be problematic.

  • Yeah, I nested the folders, didn't know you can't do that, my bad. So problem solved, thanks a lot.
