double post. Ghaaa, I think I'm going back to bed. I think I overdosed on Coronation yesterday.
I know there was a deaf composer but was there any famous blind artist?
Agreed... in most cases, but these guys aren't in any way associated with any government organization, bankruptcy asset liquidators, legal institutions, estate sales houses or anything they loosely represent their goods to be associated with... they auction low quality items they misrepresent the value and origin of, which they purchase solely for their auctions... what they represent the auction as being "U.S. Assets Forfeited" (for example) is a meaningless term... what are they saying?... That they are auctioning off assets belonging to the United States... assets seized by the United States?
A real civil asset forfeiture auction would use the correct terminology, but they aren't auctioning off any seized items, forfeited property or estate goods, so they make up some meaningless term that sort of sounds like what something like that be called so they can't be sued for misrepresenting their wares... even the one "Notice of Government Seized Property" means nothing as a real government auction would not use that term... that term they seem to have stopped using because it probably was too close to a real term and was legally perilous for them.
I'm sorry to hear about whatever it was you saw... I know it's hardly helpful, but maybe balance out that vision with some positive imagery... something that you can mentally block the horrible stuff with...
Its not easy, but we can't let horrible images and things we've seen consume us... when one does, it builds up and wears away our own humanity and hope... and honestly that's what sh_ _ty people like, want and crave... for others to be as broken and depraved as them.
Find a pet to pet or even feed some ducks in the park (or crocodiles, if popular culture's portrayal of Oz is to be believed)... don't dwell on that imagery.
Please feel better... somehow.

Judging from some of the pop art, you'd think there were a lot of them, or at least people who painted in the dark... I think Claude Monet became blind near the end of his career (in his 70s?) and that decline was responsible in part for his style... (but I forget)...
Most of the blind artists I've heard of are legally blind, not entirely sightless, so they do have some tiny bit of vision left... the only one I remember off hand was a Turkish fellow who was born blind, but having seen some of his work, I'm not sure he's entirely blind either... I'm not sure how one could paint landscapes if they are blind... maybe things you can touch or feel... I don't know how one could adapt that to a landscape... but who knows.
Complaint: I didn't really watch the coronation and I'm not going to make any negative comments on the concept or practice, but I was disappointed to find out there were no dragons present or invited to attend... you'd think they were extinct or something... I did see a bunch of videos where the grim reaper scurried by in the background, but apparently they didn't invite him inside...
Not a single damn magical creature or being in the audience or on stage... Very disappointing...
If someone with magical powers is having a party they can at least invite one frickin dragon to the shindig... bummer man.
Oops! I am tired. Wonder if I can take a nap?
I feel like I've heard that question before... damn it... I'm stuck in another causality loop... this is exactly why you should never try to fix a microwave yourself!... every time I open one of those damn things up, it breaks the timeline!
Just remember..."that blind, deaf, and dumb kid, sure plays a mean pinball!"

Lately I've been feeling that I've lost my footing on a time-plane and sometimes slip sideways to realities where Brahms never finished his 2nd symphony!
Regarding the Coronation: It was an entertaining early morning for me here in the USA. An interesting performance but very few knew their lines and had to use cue cards. I mean, I know it doesn't get performed often. But still, they had months to learn their lines.
They're coming to take you away, haha...
Ho ho, hee hee...
I can't decide if that's a frightened fungus or a terrified anal sponge.
Why not both?... Sponge Bob's ancestors had a very hard time in Ancient Rome... Perhaps that guy is just experiencing some ancestral memory?
But, actually that's just a frightened fungus.
...looks like a mortified morel at that.
Can't it be eaten either way?
Major complaint: I don't mind being old. I won't even mind being dead, but it's the accelerating falling apart bit-by-bit that pisses me off. Last night my right cataract lens shifted. All of a sudden I've got a quite noticeable blind spot in the inner lower quadrant of my right eye, and when the light is just right I can actually see (from the inside) my implanted lens or at least its shadow. It's shifted down and toward my nose. Arghhh... my fingers are way too big to dig into my eyeball and nudge it back into place, as if it would stay. F@#k More doctors, more $$ trips up town. Insurance is doubtful, but even if active, will have a hefty deductable. I thought I was done with fixing my eyes.
Non-complaint: It isn't killing me and the distruption of my sight is relatively minor (I'm seeing well enough to bitch here), but loose plastic floating around in my eye is not an unworrisome thing and needs to be taken care of. Sigh..., I guess I'm being set up for a series of mini-adventures this spring. Wheee?
I don't know about you, but I have never seen "sponge" on a menu.
solved
it was showing 30 day trial without serial but now I copied a few files over from the Win7 version it's not, Anime.dta and AnimeReg.dta
they were not in it's program files (68) folder
My, that was one heart-rending brave little wheee at the end there ...
Hoping you'll get your eye fixed real soon, and at no great cost if at all possible.
Thank you. I was able to make a priority appointment for 9:00 AM tomorrow(Tuesday). Now my only problem is getting there on time. The only bus out of town leaves here at 8:10AM, so it might be possible if I can make the correct bus changes, if they exist. But it's going to be tight.
Update: Bus all arranged. I called and they actually were able to schedule me there by a route I'd missed. They still use paper schedules and static display only websites. And having a boogered eyeball makes it difficult. They need an app for bus users.
I don't know about that... don't jump to conclusions if you've never been dead before... well, at least for a significant portion of time whereas as you are all buried and whatnot...
Sure at first it seems like it could be a lot of fun, with the haunting your enemies and "from hell's heart I stab at thee" stuff (especially if you were killed by a whale... or James T. Kirk) but it gets real, old real fast and there is so much paperwork to fill out for a haunting permit that it hardly seems worth it...
Plus if you die and you don't get a good attorney (the warm place is full of them) to help you fill out the tons of forms and waivers they dump on you the moment you start pushing up daisies (or dandelions, depending on how well maintained the cemetery or shallow roadside grave is), you could end up being reincarnated as a kangaroo or a tapeworm or worse yet one of those guys you see on TV that are always getting worked up about stuff they have no knowledge about... whaddya call them... pol... pili... porkitarians... I dunno... "p" somethings... whatever... the TV is rotten with em, but that's not important... the point is if you don't pay attention you might end up as a banana slug or some funky looking mushroom with googly eyes... so don't be so eager to check out...
And on top of all that you can't take whatever money you have to the grave... you can be buried with it, but it's non-transferable (well, actually for some odd reason your NYC Metrocard balance transfers over), so you have to start all over again... and if you go to the cloud city they pay you in these weird wafer things that taste like strawberry pop tarts... Which apparently you aren't supposed to eat and they get real pissy if you do... I mean why make stuff smell and taste like food if you aren't supposed to eat it?... still isn't not as bad as the other place with the brimstone and stuff, they just switched entirely over to cryptocurrency and they just pay everyone in NFTs of Stan's butt... or whatever the CEO of that place is named... Santa?... I always get those two confused...
Either way, I know being alive sucks sometimes, but we do have chocolate and bacon and you don't have to constantly fill out forms and wait in lines... (you gotta do that in both places for everything, the only difference is one has air conditioning).
Anyway... sorry about your eyeball and I hope it can be fixed real soon.
I just got that cloudflare error and used my VPN to connect from another country and then the forum worked. So if you get the cloudflare error, all you have to do is VPN to somewhere DAZ hasn't crashed at the moment.
Those places exist?... I heard of them in tales of old... but I thought they were a myth... tall tales told by drunken sailors and red eyed madmen who howled at the moon... legends of them appear in the ancient scrolls and tomes, but no one living has seen these places.
Long ago on a dark rainy night I took shelter in a ramshackled tavern by the side of the road and therein I was met by a writhed old traveler... cloaked in tattered old robes he traced a map in the dirt on the floor and said in the northern territory of that land there was a place guarded by ancient magic... A place where there was never a Cloudflare error...
It was high atop a mountain and guarded by the fiercest rabbits the world had ever seen, but if one spoke the sacred word, they would let you pass... and there you'd find a red granite staircase with 900,000 steps that would lead you to the top of the mountain...
Not directly... it would take to the gift shop first, and then a themed cafeteria and a mini golf, but eventually if you were brave of heart and had the $10 for the entrance fee, you'd find the admission booths and the main gate and there you'd present your ticket, any discount coupons and could get your parking validation stamp...
But then you'd have access to DAZ without interruption... for two hours... unless you purchased the deluxe day pass or the triple day ultra-deluxe platinum premium super-pass... otherwise you'd have to exit immediately through the other gift shop where you could still purchase the deluxe day pass or the triple day ultra-deluxe platinum premium super-pass, but you'd have to do the whole 900,000 steps and the gift shop, cafeteria and mini golf thing over... it was convoluted, but that's what the old traveler said was how it worked.
I looked down at the map and commented that it looked a lot like New Jersey, but when I looked up, he'd disappeared into the night... apparently he didn't pay his tab either and the tavern owner was really pissed.
I thought it was just the ravings of an old lunatic who stiffed taverns for a pint, but perhaps if what you say is true... this place may exist.
@WendyLuvsCatz :
Glad you got it sorted...
I am home for a short spell, so I had a chance to check -- I got AnimeStudioDebut-5.6 free from SM's Content Paradise in 2010 (my SN was in my purchase order). I was assuming that was the same one you got too, but I could be wrong.
I also have AnimeStudioPro-8.2 that I purchased from them in a great bundle that included Poser9 and MangaStudio4EX as well.
likely, it's pretty old
and only 768 x 768 pixels
still I can animate the small Stable Diffusion AI images with it before upscaling
(another pain only video export)
...yesterday was interesting. It was supposed to be cool and drizzly most of the day, however from morning on into afternoon it was nice, warm, and sunny with the temperature edging close to 70°. then about 16:00 or so it was as if someone flipped a switch as the skies darkened, there was thunder and lightning (somewhat rare in this part of the country) and a deluge more common to the midwest than northwest ensued that lasted about 30 min then continued off and on until sunset. The temperature also quickly nose-dived from the upper 60s ( where it is supposed to be this time of year) to the low 50s (more appropriate for mid March)
However, there's change on the wind.
After the unusually long, dreary, chilly, rainy, damp, winter with February like conditions lasting into late April, (and a couple "teases" of spring here and there) the forecast for later this week and into the next one sounds more like July with temperatures in upper 80s and low mid 90s. Seems it's one extreme or the other with nothing much in between anymore.
The one good thing, at least it will force the "bone and joint gnomes" (as Misty would say) to "take a hike" hopefully for the next several months.
The other day I made a jello gelatin like dessert. It is with unflavored gelatin. I forgot to put sweetener into the gelatin. I figured out a way to use that gelatin and mixed it with new hot water and gelatin mix.
