Morphs not working

Not sure what the heck is happening. None of my morphs on any of my models are showing up in DAZ4.8. It started out with a few of my third party figures. About one third of them would be morphless for no apparent reason. I assumed I simply messed up the installs on them, or the vendors had issues since all of my direct daz downloads worked fine. Then third party morphs that were working perfectly fine disappeared. I reinstalled Daz and wiped my library hoping it might help, but now none of my morphs are showing up on any item. They don't seem to be in hidden properties either. The only evidence I have that they ever worked is in saved scenes and characters, and even then, the only ones that show up are the actively modified morphs. Thanks in advance.

How did you install them?
What's the full path to an item that isn't working?
For the 3rd parties I unzipped them and dropped the data, runtime and prop/people folder into their respective locations in my library. For the DAZ Directs I bought and dowloaded them into the same place.
this is the path for Genesis 3 fem body morphs
A:\Users\Kye\My DAZ 3D Library\data\DAZ 3D\Genesis 3\Female\Morphs\DAZ 3D\Body
In DS, can you go to Edit > Preferences > Content Library > Content Directory Manager, expand the "DAZ Studio Formats" and "Poser Formats", and post a screenshot?
I can't read that - please upload a full-size screenshot, ideally cropped to the dialogue box, using the Attach a File link below the text box.
sorry about that
The path under DAZ Studio Formats is wrong - it should be the same as under Poser Formats, which is the path you have installed to. If there's a Data folder in A:\Users\Kye\ cut it and paste it into A:\Users\Kye\My DAZ 3D Library\
but the data folder in A:\Users\Kye\ is the one in A:\Users\Kye\My DAZ 3D Library\
As long as the only Data folder is in My DAZ 3D Library, tht's fine. You just need to change the path under DAZ Studio Formats to include My DAZ 3D Library.
I'll do it...but I am scared of that thing. Last time I dicked with it just to add my poser runtime it lost the ability to find anything despite not touching my Daz stuff.
If they were indentical you wouldn't have missing morphs. The Data folder may not be in a sub-folder, it has to be in the actual folder set as a DAZ Studio content directory (as does the Runtime folder, which is why you can't have one folder for DAZ Studio content and a sub-folder for Poser content).
Holy crap they're back. Thank you.
But now none of my saved stuff works.
Why does the directory manager seem like its made of pure evil.
What errors are you getting on your saved files?
from what i can tell its unable to locate anything in my runtime folder
If the missing files are in a Runtime folder under A:\Users\Kye\, you need to merge it with the one under A:\Users\Kye\My DAZ 3D Library\
but thats the same folder
No, it's not.
The way Studio looks for content makes it different folders.
The 'correct' mapping should be Users\Kye\My DAZ 3D Library\ NOT Users\Kye OR Users\Kye\ and not Users\Kye\My DAZ 3D Library\. Because if both are mapped and contain content, you will have nested folders. And in a case like that, Studio will stop searching at the first data, people, runtime, etc it finds.
What are all the Runtime folders you have (full paths)?
oookay, that actually kinda makes sense.
Tis the only one:
A:\Users\Kye\My DAZ 3D Library
Currently this is how my directory is set up and everything seems to be running perfectly. The only issue i'm seeing is my geometries folder is fine but my libraries folder is useless. Which, while i'd prefer it to work, with everything finally working it's whatever.
Poser formats needs to be the same, A:/Users/Kye/My DAZ 3D Library
Now you've swapped the problem - the DAZ Studio Formats path is right, but the Poser Fromats path stops short. Both should be pointing to the My DAZ 3d Library folder, which should then itself contain the Data and Runtime folders.
What exactly do you mean by this? The folder named "Runtime" won't actually appear inside DS, it will appear as Content Library > Poser Formats.
Post a screenshot of Windows Explorer showing the content folder....
any figure that needed something from runtime would not be able to locate it
