Can't find content in App

Hi!

First I am going to say sorry, 'cause I'm going to ask stupid questions. I'm absolutely new to this, and actually have no idea what I'm doing. But I love to play around with stuff like this.

Now, I purchased the genesis evolution body morph bundle.

Installed it with the Install Manager.

Now where in the Program do I find these new options to morph my model? Shouldn't it just.. be there?

I can't do any research anymore, my head is aching. I read a lot of help articles and was trying a lot, but just can't find the stuff.

(Everything newly installed - no old install path that could be wrong)

Thank you so much for your help!

Cheers,

Leyla

I seem to reacll that this one of the products that has no user facing files, which means you will only find them as additional adjustments on the parameters, as they are automatically placed there for you

  • Nope, not in the parameters (just the adjustments that came with the program, same as in the shaping panel) - no trace of my purchased item :(

    Hello!

First, add a Genesis to your Viewport. Then select Genesis and klick on the Shaping Tab, there you have them!

  • AAAHHH!! Fount it. good lord. Thanks!

  • I was confused. I thought this bundle should be compatible with all the genesis (also genesis 2) and I thought it had more options. I didn't find the option to make the breasts smaller or bigger. Maybe should've bought the genesis 2 female morph package - so long my beloved money. My goal is to be able to try to reproduce people from photographs. So I need many morph options. There's no "universal" package, is there?

You can always return it if you are displeased, contact Customer service. And for Genesis 2 There is one for 2 male and one for 2 Female, and as Genesis 3 Female recently arrived, there is one for her too.

You can also use Genesis 1 to recreate people from pictures. I'd give it a try, if I were you. :-)

  • I am trying :) Still not many options though, which makes me think if I am using the bundle I bought. 'Cause I wasnt looking at Genesis in the beginning, I don't know if that's what was already there in the beginning or this what I bought.... any way to find out?

Remove your attachment and try to attach it again, the icon is broken meaning the attachment hasn't taken correctly

Go to the Content Library pane, DAZ Studio Formats > My DAZ 3D Library > People > Genesis, and load a new figure.   Then go to the Parameters pane with Genesis selected in the Viewport or Scene pane.   Then go to the 'All' label at the top of the Parameters pane, and type in the word 'Breast' (without the quotes), that should bring them all up, there are quite a few.

Genesis loads with all the morphs that you have available, there is nothing else to load.   If you installed using DAZ Install Manager (DIM) the morphs pacakages should have been installed to the correct place.   If you still can't find them, please let us know.

  • Doesn't work..

    - I did install with the DIM but still I can't find it. I tried to put it in "my library afterwards" just to see if that works, but I guess that's the wrong place for morphs, it's in there now but like an item that can't be used - 2nd attachment.

I managed to install some darker skin tones manually - this did work.

Morphs needs to be installed where DIM installs them (in /data/DAZ 3D/Genesis/Morphs something, typing from memory.

They ONLY show up as sliders under the SHAPING Tab when you have the CORRECT figure selected. If you install them with DAZ Studio running I recommend quitting DAZ Studio and start it again so it can load them upon startup.

  • Got it! But I had to do it manually.

For some reason, the files were not there, where DIM wanted to install them. I found them and put them manually there, now it works.

Something went wrong with th DIM I guess. But found it, now I can even adjust the breasts :D

Thank you all for being patient with me!

Did DIM install to the same "Library" as the one DAZ Studio is looking in? You can see that in DAZ Studio under preferences and Content Directory Manager
