Are there models that will allow me to deform entirely to my custom shape?
I asked a similar question earlier, but this new angle seemed refined enough to be a new thread.
Also, I've played with Daz3D a little more, so I think I've learned a bit more. Mainly, it seems that the default male and female that come with the base software for free are limited in how much they can be deformed. You can increase and decrease the size of certain body parts, but only select ones, and only within certain bounds.
I draw my own comics, and I draw my characters in my own personal, slightly unrealistic body proportions, but not wildly out of the norm. Something similar to J Scott Campbell's style. Ideally, I'd like to have models that conform to my personal style, so I need more flexibility than the default models provide.
Am I right in my understanding that more recent models have more options for deformation?
Can I reasonably expect a newer model, like Eva 7 could be squashed and stretched into nearly any female shape, or are there limitations I should be aware of?

If you're talking about what morph dials are built it, there are a limited number, but the range of shapes is very broad. If you don't have a modeling program (e.g. Hexagon, ZBrush, Blender) you will probably want the head and body morphs at least, and there may be products that give a shape similar to what you're looking for (e.g. http://www.daz3d.com/animated-shapes-for-genesis-2-male-s ). DAZ Studio also has Dforms which can be used to reshape the mesh.
You also have Genesis which, as it is slightly older, has a greater morph pool available for use. There are the morph bundles in the store and lots of free ones available in a few places such as sharecg.com.
