Broken Christmas Decorations.

There was a query in the Product Suggestions forum - https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/600956/broken-christmas-decoration#latest asking about whether anyone had seen broken decorations. I must admit, I hadn't.

So I did something about it.., especially given that I'm a cheapskate it had to be free.

A complete bauble, a broken bauble, four fragments, a hook and four material settings. The bauble is spherically texture mapped, but I haven't included any maps.

Hope they are useful.

In december 2019 we've been given DD Holiday Ornaments for free by DisparateDreamer, "Add realism to your holiday scenes with DD Holiday Ornaments, one of which is broken!"

But yours look so much better! :) I will download them for sure!

Thank you for producing these and also for giving them away for free!

I'm not surprised that these are so popular. A lot of our renders are based on simple back stories that shadow real life events. Decorating the Christmas tree is a major event that often has associated memories with it and therefore makes for a good render. Also a lot of the DAZ world is too clean and perfect, real life simple isn't that good. Those of us who strive for realism need a few tatty or broken items (without going full Zombie apocalypse) to provide that level of realism. Your Christmas ornaments just fit that catergory perfectly.
