old post, but I just landed the same issue. Intresting now. I have noticed it before and though I was seeing things. I am now keeping a tight list on my orders and printed them out.
I have had products whose names have been changed, sometimes quite radically, other times just a little bit. I have only found them by keeping a copy of the promo pages, order confirmation, shopping cart, from when I bought them, or if the PA is still with Daz, looking the item up on their store. But it gets to be a pain when it is a texture set and the PA is no longer at DAZ, so there is no link to the main product. One item's research can take hours.
I can never remember how to search in DIM for a SKU. I know there was a thread recently that listed all the ways out and I can kick myself for not copying that data onto a Word document. And I learned years ago, keep D|S offline. I have even been in arguments with Customer Service about that. They want to only push an update for a product that way, and I won't do it. Told them to use DIM.

I don't use DIM or Daz Central and only install purchased products manually. Nevertheless, I had a similar problem two or three years ago. It is really important to keep any receipt, from Daz or other providers. I was able to specify in my complaint exactly when I bought which product with which invoice number - and the problem was quickly solved.
What was the problem? If you installed it manually, it should be there. Content from other vendors is installed manually as well.
Does does look at the manually installed files and remove them, or did you just not find it in your Product Library?
It had disappeared from my Product Library. I noticed it because a product I knew for a fact I had bought turned up at a sale. When I went to the product page, the red 'Purchased' tag was missing. So I checked my PL, noticed that this product was no longer there and asked what that meant...
You need to send a ticket.
Do you still have the receipt in your email?
Thanks Pertti, your advice cannot be repeated often enough. For me it was two or three years ago. I wrote that everything was done quickly because I ALWAYS keep my receipts and could therefore say exactly when I bought the products, under which order number, etc. Apparently something like this happens every now and then when someone fumbled on the shop software.

I could easily see this happening with things I haven't used and being none the wiser
I have on rare occasions been surprised I didn't own something as swore I used it but so far not found any concrete evidence
The Bundle thing happened to me almost as well. Years ago I made several files, where I log all purchases and also copy the documentation on the Product Page to a word file. So I knew, what I have bought. I also keep the receipts I get per mail.
On old items I find them in my Product Library, but the link to the Product Page no longer works, as this product seems to have been retired. So, downloading everything is a good idea.
Did that with my purchases in other stores as well.
I have experienced having items not there in the library when I'm in Studio. I have multiple library folders that get created whenever there seems to be an update. Two of them I know I did, one is for an old external drive and the other is the new external, but the 3 others were generated when there seemed to be a new version of Studio [they're all duplicates of the same basic files]. So I have to bounce around to each library looking for an item I know has been installed in the new external, but I'll check them all to be certain. I'll go to the DIM and look it up and there it says it's installed and the location of where it is. But it's still not showing up in Studio. So I have to uninstall it via DIM and then reinstall it and bingo there it is so I can see it and use it. It's weird, I've had that happen to me probably about a dozen times in the last year or two.
What do you mean here? It is, I think, true that if you sort by order date DIM will list items purchased in a bundle as if that was their purchase date, rather than going with the original date, but that reflects the way the store records the infromation.
previously if I already owned something and accidentally rebought it or I bought a bundle with an owned item included it did not appear in DIM to download as I already had it
but now they do, I found this out buying bundles recently I owned a couple of items from
DIM is not even opening for me now. I can't download anything I've recently purchased. What's going on?
I haven't seen that, and I think I bought a bundle including already owned items fairly recently - DIM does know that it is isntalled and/or still have the zip in its downloads folder?
This is an old thread but today as I was entering data for SKU 6255 Royal Post Line for the RHS Stagecoach I could not bring it up in my DAZ Product Library. I tried using the double colons, ::6255 but it did not work. When I found this thread again, confirmed the search method again and it failed; I tried it in the main store's search window it worked. But in my Product Library I can't find it by name or SKU. Weird. I also brought up the basic info page by clicking on the thumbnail of the product in D|S.
Is there some reason it is not working?

I tried sku::6255 and that was a zero find in my Product Library too. But thank you for giving me the 'sku' add-on @Taoz

Try holding down cmd(Mac)/ctrl(Win) as you click on More Information in DS - that should give an option to open the Product Library page instead of the readme, nd to use your browser isntead of the in-app pane (in case you are not logged-in in DS).
Richard, I was sent to the Login/Register page but I am unable to type into the Email or Password fields. And this is when I am already signed in to the Daz store. I do get an option to 'Go Back' which takes me to the Documentation Center page for zz* - Royal Post Line for the RHS Stagecoach. Sigh.
But my core worry is why the Product page is not showing up in my Product Library at all. Even items that are no longer sold at Daz show up without issue.
If one filters for Stage, it shows up just fine
I just tried that. It did not show up. Just the base item and other products with 'stage' in the name.
When did you purchase it? I had several older products disappear from my library during the 2020 store update, and I'm probably not the only one this has happened to. I still have this one though, purchased in 2013.
Okay, serious weirdness. I have been on my Win 11 using its browser Edge. But to answer @Taoz' question I had turned to my old iMac and using Google Chrome I typed in 'stage' in that Product Line and the product showed up! I had bought Royal Post Line for the RHS Stagecoach in Oct 2020. The iMac is my primary computer that I review the store, purchase, have my DAZ+ setup and also my records of promo files. It was just that this morning I was focused on adding metadata on files on the Win 11. That includes the PA names as I like to recognize their talents.
Thank you to everyone who tried to help me. Like I said, totally weird that Win 11 and Edge failed this time.

You don't have two differenmt accounts?
It does show up in my account in Edge, on Windows 10.
