FYI, Content Gatherer ( https://www.daz3d.com/content-gatherer ) is fully broken with the latest DS release.
I believe the PA who made this is no longer with us, so the odds of an update seem long.
Might want to add a disclaimer to the product description saying that it doesn't work. Or de-list it.

Apparently there isn't an issue.
CG was crashing out on me due to a memory issue. I think 4k textures might be to blame. Too many of them or just too many assets in the scene.
Never seen it crash like that before and it seemed to be happening on all my recent DS files.
You could try looking at http://docs.daz3d.com/doku.php/public/software/dazstudio/4/referenceguide/scripting/api_reference/samples/remote_operation/extract_data_from_products_used/start
For whatever reason, CG crashes when there are too many 4k textures. I would think it wouldn't care about the size of the images, just the number of them.
Subdividing the scene(s) fixes the problem.
