Victoria 9 HD Makeup not loading

in Technical Help (nuts n bolts)

i have the character selected.  i even tunnel down to the exact surface.  the clickies in the product file send that error: 2022-10-21 14:04:08.920 Failed to load script: D:/DAZ 3D/Applications/Data/DAZ 3D/My DAZ 3D Library/people/genesis 9/characters/daz originals/victoria 9 hd/materials/makeup/v9 makeup lips gloss medium.dse.  usually happens when you are not selecting the correct item.  bugged product?  is anyone else having this error?

    Hi Richard, I'm having the same problem and am using 4.16.

    4.16 is an unsupported version for Genesis 9 - I'm not saying that it is the cause of your issue, but it certainly may be. You could try installing the Public Build and see if that works.

    The makeup options for V9 requires Daz 4.21 as it use options that are not in previous versions of daz

    I'm not sure but this may be related. But I can get the makeup to load (4.21) but not remove. They had an update to Genesis 9 Starter Essentials because of some errors, so perhaps this will also be updated?

    Steps to replicate:
    Load Genesis 9
    Apply Victoria Skin
    Apply makeup (any of them)
    Click Remove All (or the specific options)
    Nothing happens.
