Dynamic clothing question
Sorry to be a newbie, but I guess I'm a little confused on making dynamic clothing. I've read some forum posts but I'm afraid it's only got me more mixed up. Are only certain clothes dynamic, or is there a plug in that makes something that way? For instance, say I want to have a jacket draped on over a chair or on the floor, or something like a superhero pulling off his shirt with his costume underneath.
I guess ultimately I'm just curious if there a good tutorial that would explain how to do these types of things and whether or not there are recommended plug ins that I would need to get.
Thanks!

In which application? DAZ Studio uses a system that requires special software to create dynamic clothing - you can't take an arbitary object and clothify it. Most people who want to do that use another application, such as Blender, to handle the clothification and draping.
I too am new to Daz studio, though experienced in Poser. I am switching to Daz studio but am still puzzled about dynamic clothing in this application. In poser one can create a cloth object in, say .obj format, imprt it to poser and then clothify it before draping it over a figure. As far as I can see in Daz you have to buy the dynamic cloth. All the plug in does is allow you to control it. Is there really no way of clothifying an object within Daz studio or one of its plugins? This seems a severe limitation if I have got it right.
Dynamic clothing in DAZ Studio ONLY works via the Optitex plugin (Dynamic Clothing Control), there is no 'cloth' room. There is a free (limited) version of the plugin that comes with DAZ Studio, and it can be used on the DS Dynamic clothing. Poser dynamic clothing does not work inside DAZ Studio, it will just be a statci mesh.
How do I register my dynamic cloth plug-in serial # in order to get the full control available to me?
Edited: Nevermind. I got it.
