How to avoid the shrink-wrap effect of auto-fit

in New Users
Hey guys,
So I have been experimenting with modeling clothing using zBrush and Hexagon, and have not been yet able to avoid/minimize the significant deformations imposed by the auto-fit tool in Daz (when, for example, making a long robe/dress). I was curious if you know of any techniques that could help minimize such artifacts.
Thanks in advance,
Davide

I'd like to know, too. So... bookmarking this thread and hoping.

It's the bones that are auto-fitting, once they are renamed, etc. they will not try to move with the figure. This then is where poses and morphs come into play.
I am not sure I understand what you mean. Are you saying I should I try renaming the bones to something else then?
Also, the plugin you linked to seems to be just for older Generation 4 characters.

Ok, well I tried renaming the bones to something else (added a "1" to the end of each name), then did the auto-fit again. But I am getting the same shrink-wrap result.
Any other ideas?
