RTX 3080 listed under hardware, but Daz won't use it in rendering

I get the following error message in the log when I try to render with just the GPU:

WARNING: ..\..\..\..\..\src\pluginsource\DzIrayRender\dzneuraymgr.cpp(305): Iray [ERROR] - IRAY:RENDER ::   1.0   IRAY   rend error: Cannot render: found no usable devices.

When I have CPU fallback checked, the scene renders only on the CPU. Without it, instant failure with the above error.

Also, isn't my card supposed to be listed in hardware as "CUDA - Nvidia GeForce RTX3080"? Because it only says Nvidia GeForce RTX3080.

Just reinstalled everything. Daz3d 4.12 Pro. CUDA 11.8 522.06. Nvidia Studio driver 517.4. On a newly purchased 12GB RTX 3080.

Negative. Same error.

But the device is listed...(see attachment)

Check device manager - the Nvidia driver may be complaining about something and not loading.

Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Computer Management -> Device Manager -> Display Adapters and right-click on the 3080 then verify the driver.

Which version of DS 4.12?

Ampere support was added to DS 4.12.2.31.

FIXED!

Two problems. Out of date Daz3D and some broken system files.
