Unable to turn off limits

I know that on previous versions one could right click on the parameters tab and select limits and then select turn of { or on)

Now in DS4.8 i can still right click and the options are still there but nothing happens when i select the turn off option. Probably something in the preference i assume, but i have no idea where and its such a nuisance having to tune limits off for each operation.

Anyone help please?

What are you right clicking on, and which limits? Rotation limits? It does seem that the command is affecting only the current node or nodes, not a whole figure at once.

I am right clicking on the Parameters tab which allows me to select the limits tab. This in turn allows me to select either the turn on of turn off options for the rotation tabs.

Trounle is that nothing happens, it did in the previous verssion of DS but now it does nothing.

Attached screen shots in the hope it will clarify the question.

Right, the Parameters pane option menu. It will work if you select the actual bones. I have reported this as a bug (I think - I certainly meant to).
