I wanted to comment... if I'm not mistaken a search box for the "current" forums showed up some time around mid-July. However if you typed in a search term like LAMH (say... it stands for a commercial product called Look At My Hair) then the search engine -- again, this is as of mid-July 2015 approx. -- returned at dozens of messages. THE FULL TEXT OF THEM. Stretched across many pages, several at a time.
My specific comment: narrowing down the search to a list of clickable topics would be better. For example if there are 50-80 readable lines in your browser window and you can accomodate two columns (ok, this doesn't always work for people with low vision) then at least a hundred thread titles would be readable at a glance, one in each column.
