GoZ crashing with update to MacOs 12.6

Hello Folks,

I'm unable to use GoZ after upgrading to MacOs 12.6 - is anyone else experiencing this? I am using Daz version 4.20.0.17 pro edition and I've was using Zbrush 2021.7.1 - that was crashing when sending back to Daz - the export works but the Goz button in Zbrush to send the model back to Daz crashes. I upgraded to 2022.0.6 but same issue.

Anyone have any guidance? Thanks - was working fine in 12.5 as far as I know.

  • So I found an old thread addressing the problem, https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/346566/goz-to-daz3d-crashes-due-to-missing-files/p2

And it worked - it requres using a terminal to navigate to the GoZBrushToDAZStudio.app contents location and making symbolic links to the files in the /Applications/DAZ\ 3D/DAZStudio4\ 64-bit/Frameworks/  directory. I see how this would let it find the file sits looking for but wonder how things would get in this state?

Regardless I do have GoZ functioning again with the latest version of Zbrush so good for now...
