Reproducing a 2d crartoon character in 3d

I'm looking to reproduce some famous cartoon characters in Daz, like Francine Smith from "American Dad" and Maddie Fenton from "Danny Fantom". I know about Toon Generations , but I'm not sure how well it would work for me. What would be the easiest way for me to achieve this? I know 2d characters don't always turn out right in 3d, but here's a 3d printed model of Francine, so this is actually what she would look like in 3d. I'm sure it was modeled in Blender or Maya, but I'd like to see if anyone knows a way to do it in Daz.Thanks.

Daz is not a modeller.
Using the existing base characters, one can dial in a great variety of morphs. The more morphs you have in the 'gene pool' - the greater the mixes you can put together to achieve the desired character(s).
Alternatively one can make a separate figure altogether which requires the model, making the rigging, making a ton of adjustment morphs, etc. Not what I would call the easy way.
eta: As it's the eyes that are the biggest challenge in getting the toon look, here are a few of the toon females I found in the store search. They have large eyes, the nose and jawlines are not the same as your guide picture. I did notice that the product page indicates the head morphs can be dialed in separately. So those mixed with other morphs [hundreds sold in the store] should give you a good start.

Thanks; some of those I've never seen before. Isn't there a way to make the sliders in Daz go beyond their initial settings to acheive that toon body look as well? Like to get that really tiny waist and wide hips that some toon females have like Maddie Fenton?
On a morph you can click on the gear icon and turn limits off. But it might not give the result you had expected.
Trying to match an existing / known figure can be difficult. Just to throw in the option, if you send the figure to Hexagon, you can make your own morphs to help shape it ... this is far easier than starting a figure from scratch, texturing, rigging, etc. If you have not done this before, it can take a little getting used to ... but it is an option.
I don't know anything about Hexagon, but I do have Blender; I'm still a beginner, but I'm far more comfortable with the basic controls, and there's a alot of support for Blender. Could I do the same thing with Blender?
I'll give it a go; the worst that can happen is it doesn't work. I'll do it on a test model just to experiment and see what happens. Thanks.
If I'm understanding you right, the more chrachters or morphs I have in Daz, the more i can mix and match them to get something totally original?
Yes, for your own use. {not to be redistributed free or for sale} {with the standard licenses}
eta: And in today's sale, if a certain amount is purchased, there is a free morph pack for G8 which includes lips :-)

There are actually 4 Toon Generations
The original was stand alone and is MUCH less human looking
Toon Generations 2 was for Genesis 3
Toon Generations 3 & 4 are both for Genesis 8
Before you buy, you should look at both. Clothing should autofit just like any other genesis 8 character. i.e. beware of extreme garments
Alternatively, I know a guy you can find on DeviantArt. He does conversions of 3D models to Genesis base figures for Daz3D. If you have some $ to put into and some time for the wait as he is in quite high demand. The great thing is that most of his conversions are available for free to anyone.
Check him out:

I have not done the export / inport with blender, but the same process should work ... send it over, make a morph, send it back. Hexagon works well with Daz Studio and will automatically make a slider for your morph ... I do not know about blender.
@mechw8 Another good Toon character to check out is...
Toon Girl and Girlish Outfit for Genesis 8 Female(s)
https://www.daz3d.com/toon-girl-and-girlish-outfit-for-genesis-8-females
And a good starting point for Francine Smith and Maddie Fenton might be...
Chibi Girl for Genesis

Both good suggestions, but I think a better starting place might be:
Toon Mom for Genesis 8 Female
https://www.daz3d.com/toon-mom-for-genesis-8-female
It starts you off iwth a "mom" character with Hartman Hips so outer half-way thre. Plus it's on sale at the moment (not sure how long that will last).
Yes, I have talked to Shinteo. He uses 3d Wrap to do his conversions. He has a YouTube video on it. Thanks.
Thanks for your help everone.
hello I'm working on recreating Francine Smith but not really toon is there any dresses that match hers from the show?
