content package assist sold elsewhere?

was this sold somewhere else other than daz at a somepoint? 
I have the PDF for how to use it but it's not iisted in my daz stuff? 
How would I have the pdf that's bundled with it if i don't have the product ... somewhere

    No, it has always been a Daz product as far as I can recall. The user guide is on the radme page, perhaps you downloaded it while considering whether it would suit your needs?

    It only installs via DIM - check the various types of products DIM is set to search for.

    Check in your Product Library, even though it only installs via DIM it would still be visible in there.

    I haven't checked, it could be that the .pdf was available from the Product readme webpage, or maybe when packaging up another product somebody accidentally had included a copy of theirs.

    Oh I just got one now too! Yes, Google the title of the product, the product page for Daz3D is listed, then beneath that the Introduction Documentation Center page ... clicking on that produces the download for the .pdf.

    That's why I though I must have a copy of the software.. and since there are some old rdna things that I don't think are listed in my daz stuff and even the occasional item in my product library that come up as unpurchased when on sale pages.

    It's probably more complex.. but does this simply creat the dsx file that is paired with every Daz zip? 
    No, it probably creates the manifest. dsx too.

    so if you just had one alien zip you could just mod a copy of the files for the new package but it would get tedious to do it for many hence the application to do it?
