Duplicate assets in Smart Content

I recently had to update my smart content database and after doing so I noticed a fair few items had duplicates (some with cover art, some withhout). Does anyone know why this happened and how to remove the duplicates or do I have to delete each asset and re-install them?

    Check to see if they are actual duplicates. Some products have Daz & Poser versions, or for things that relate to figures there may be a version for G3 and a version for G8 and so on.

    It helps to have the info tab under the Smart Content to provide more context on the items when you click on them.
