[SOLVED] "Open CL notify: CL_OUT_OF_RESOURCES error executing clFlush on NVIDIA GeForce MX130"

Hello there,

I'm a totally newbie and I'm trying to simulate hair (non native dforce, I just applied it on "Techno Weasel Hair".

I setted -0.20 gravity, 0.60 resistance, current frame and used two wind nodes.

My computer is not the top for these things, I know: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-8565U CPU @ 1.80GHz   1.99 GHz, 8 GB RAM, x64, with NVIDIA GeForce MX130.

Well, analyzing the log I could see that at a certain point an infinite series of warnings began: [WARNING] :: ..\..\..\src\dzopenclkernelfactory.cpp(32): Open CL notify: CL_OUT_OF_RESOURCES error executing clFlush on NVIDIA GeForce MX130 (Device 0).

About it, EventViewer says: \Device\UVMLiteController0x1  Error occurred on GPUID: 100 (source nvlddmkm).

More, I have 38 GB free on C: and 120 on D:

I'm sure I'm doing something wrong, is there a way to escape from this situation?

Thanks, guys!

EDIT:

My laptop still sucks, anyway it wasn't the culprit. I had taken an undforceable hair (dunno whay it isn't), so I'm simply using a different one.

  • 8GB of system RAM is not very much. How much memory does the GPU (the MX130) have?

MX130 (Maxwell) has just 2GB's of VRAM

  • ooops sorry

  • Thinking... sometimes it worked but maybe it was a less heavy file, but in this scene I'm working to there are three characters. What if I try just with one person and then merge the others?

  • Threads merged.
