Creating images on non-plane primatives

Hey all,

I have a fire authority client that needs a rendering of a proposed wildland fire fighting facility that would include a helipod, which is simply a large water tank wherein a black hawk can drop a hose and suction up water.  The simple solution is to create it with a cylindrical primitive with a glavanized steel shader while adjusting the tiles for realism.   I'd like to put their logo and name on the tank, but only know how to put photos or logos on planes using an image and a black/white negative image with the cut-out feature.  When that technique is applied to a non-plane primitive, it covers all surfaces of the primitive with the image.

I've tried using props such as industrial drums and Photoshopping the images in the Runtime/Textures files, but it loses realism, even when I borrow from the shader image files.  Following up with steel shaders looks great; however, the shop'd logo image is lost as it is shaded too.

Is there a way to put an image on a primitive such as a cylinder, or would that require developing it with a separate image program (i.e. blender, etc.)?
