New to Iray Decal Nodes - getting weird outlines when emissive objects are the light source

As an example, the first image shows the decal when using a dome HDRI.  The second is scene lighting only using an emissive sphere.  In the second image, there's a weird glow on the edges of the translucent/opaque areas where the transparency is tapering off.  Am I doing something wrong?  Does anyone know if there is a workaround for this?  Thank you for your time.

You're not doing anything wrong, this is a bug that appeared a few patches ago. Not sure if its an iray bug or a studio bug. I've already sent this issue to the tech guys but you should open a ticket if you can.
