A wee bit of assistance needed

edited December 1969 in Bryce Discussion

hey guys, how's it going?

I'm having a wee bit of trouble with this file, it was done in an older version of Bryce, but every time I open it in my Bryce 7 it crashes.... can anyone shed some light as to why this would be happening?

All I want at the moment is for it to be opened and then re-saved as a version 7 file...

(I've put links up cos it isnae letting me attach it)

Have you used Displacement on any of the components in the file?

For me it opens up fine and I see some nested spheres, but then it just crashes.

Actually, scratch that previous post, I know what the problem is now.

You need to open Bryce first and re-set the nano preview window to Wire Frame (see pic below) and THEN open your file.
    Then you'll have no trouble.

    Hope this helps.
