Do I have to re-install?

The battery in my laptop exploded. Fortunately, all of my DAZ stuff was located on an external drive so nothing was lost. When I run DAZ, all of the content is there and is working. However, when I run DIM, it isn't finding anything and wants to re-install 7000+ packages. How do I tell DIM that the stuff is already there?

It is the manifest files that tells DIM what is installed.

You need to point DIM (in settings) to where you manifest files are,

Sounds like the manifest file may have been on your C: drive (that's the default place) and hence went up in the big bang. That's is why I keep mine on a different (external) drive, like the downloaded files. Do you have a recent backup from which you can recover them?

I had copies of everything on the external drive. I just changed the path and I'm good to go. Thank you.
