I alawys got away aith Autofit but I stumbled across a vid vby jay Versluis how to fit older clothes without autofitting. 
However my list of compatbility bases is completely empty. What did I miss?

It's probably a CMS or metadata issue. Are the database driven views (Smart Content, the Presets tabs in proeprty panes, Categories and Products in the Content Library pane) working correctly?
