dForce hair trouble

Hello I am trying to make a scene where I (my daz character is me) am laying in my boyfriends hand. i'm having a lot of trouble but mostly that's been with the hair.

I am trying to scale myself down to about 10%, and lay down. it seems that when i do that the hair just goes crazy no matter what. the first screenshot will show u what i mean. I tried simulating several times, it either turns into a giant monsterous blob of polygons or it just doesn't work (running a 3080 graphics card btw) pretty much no matter what i do, it doesn't come out right at all. the second photo, from the product page, is what inspired this project. i'm just a begginer trying to learn DAZ and i thought this would be a fun pose to remake. The 3rd photo is from me trying a different method, scaling the guy up to 1000% and posing myself on him, the hair still comes out really weird) and then the last photo, is me, without the guy, posed, unscaled, the hair still is not ideal (has not been simulated)

_ to be clear i am having this problem running simulation or not indecision

  • Try scalling your boyfriend up - some of the settings used in dForce are in real world units and if you make the model too small it may no longe be able to resolve as the need to accomodate the now grossly over sized real world units keeps pumping new energy in.
