Very Jerky animation renders

I hope somebody can help, because this is driving me nuts....

I recently installed a 360 ti in my machine, and ran a couple of test animations, and all was well.

I did a couple in fact, with no problems.

Later after loading a trusted scene I tried again, but this time the render seemed to be jerky, as though not going from one pose to another in the AVI.

I tried a different model, same results, then I tried doing a picture series, then I discovered that the resulting pictures are not the same size, every other frame was smaller, and some even out of focus.

I uninstalled Studio and reinstalled via Install manager, but still no good.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Are you rendering from a scene camera?

    ...and is it possibly animated

  • I would strongly recommend you write .png file sequence to a folder, and then use a tool like Virtual Dub to join them into a movie, or if you have the money, Adobe Premier or similar.  I expect there's free Open Source software to do it out there as well.

That is because DS makes a thumbnail for each image rendered.
