Putting genesis 8 morphs directory on ramdisk ?

Is it possible to put [genesis 8 morphs directory on ramdisk] it like I said. I tried and added ram disk as a path in content manager, nothing. Maybe I did something wrong ?

It may be a problem if the path doesn't look like a regular drive location, but otherwise it should work. however, bear in mind that the slow-down with large collections is not principally down to reading from disc but to checking for and establishing the links between morphs.
