How to convert G2F textures to G8F textures (not morphs)

How to convert G2F textures to G8F textures (not morphs) I suppose I have to convert UV maps first...but I am not sure how to do it. Are there any tutorials or plug-ins doing this conversion?

Thanks, but my understanding is that this does not change G2F textures (the png/jpg pictures!) to G8F textures (pictures), it is like adding a shell to G8F character and load G2F textures to that shell...
