Problems with DazStudio 4.8 Viewpoint Pane

I have been having issues with the viewpoint pane since I installed 4.8. When it opens it is all white. When I load an object it stays all white and the object cannot be seen but is there. When I render, the object renders fine, then the viewpoint pane is filled with bits and pieces of the rendering windows: I cannot clear it unless I close the program and reopen it. Any ideas on how to fix this pane? Everything seems to run ok.
The problems all stem around the Viewpoint pane.

    What operating system?

    System specs? Especially video and memory...
