    I remember this one. The Judge...with the "gavel" shifter. This was when we all were doing the "gavel" wars. There were gavel renders everywhere...hahaha. That was a blast!

     

    It was.  The challenge thread has not been so active lately, and not nearly as fun.  In fact, I keep forgetting it's there until half the month goes by.

    Thanks. I was going for a "caught in the headlights" look, and it happened to bring out the detail of the bike really well too.

    This one drove me nuts.. firts I get the dread "white skin" material issue, then after that I get the dread "crocodile skin" material problem, and then the male hair took forever to render...

    Cool!  What was the Dodge model that was the equivalent of the Chrysler Newport, 68/69?  I think it began with the letter M.  Was it Monaco?  Yeah, that was it...did a search...I remember those rear lights, the wedge shape.  A friend had one in the late 60s, same time that I had the Newport.

    Great render. Love the style used in it which fits the combi van well. My dad had a combi like this and we covered a lot of km's in it during my childhood. Might have to grab it for myself.

    I've been on hols so haven't had much time on the forums but I've seen some great work from others as well.

    I did this one for a nephew's birthday card several years ago.  I noticed just now the exhaust pipes have an issue.  Didn't notice it back then.  frown

    Looks like somebody tried to put a set of sidepipes on without removing enough of the original headers.

    I had to play with the Ford Hotrod just a bit, so I rebuilt it in Blender from the list of obj's, and changed out the wheels n tires.
