I used to run into that with younger guys when I worked at a Subaru dealership back in the day!
Heh - back when I had a bobbed out 1936 Harley flathead... The kickstart threw a lot of bikers into wonderment, but it was the manual ignition timing and the tickler on the carb that really got them wondering (as did the hand shift/foot clutch....)
That hand shift and foot clutch always had me wondering too! I've seen some of those classics, always wondered how one would hold the bike up and still be able to work the clutch and the rear brake!

Fear is right! I'm afraid I would fall over! And Harley's of any era are "HEAVY"!
Yeah they are but the real fear is that the AH driving the cage behind you and is tail gateing your rear fender will run over you
Indeed - that was quite the trick, what one did was to use the front brake ti hold the bike when stopper or on a hill.. The foot clutch wasn;t like a car clutch that released as you took for foot off it. the foot clutch was of the rocker type, meaning it could be “rocked” to the disengaged position, and it would stay in that position until the rider nudged it with his or her foot in the opposite direction. Harley-Davidson motorcycles were “heel down” disengaged. The rider could and would control the RATE of engagement with his foot. In other words, the clutch was not totally spring loaded like the clutch in a car. Clutch pedal engagement is/was determined by foot position, on the Harley you rocked the pdeal forwards with your toeto engage the clutch . If the rider slid his foot off the clutch pedal while it was in the disengaged position it would stay disengaged. The stock/standard rocker clutch did have a spring that would pull the pedal towards the engaged position only after the clutch was “rocked” out of the disengaged position. Once you got the hang of it it wasn't that bad..
Yeah.. I've had a few tip on me.. One way to do it is to sit sideways on the seat with your legs on the ground, grab the frame and the handlebar thats on nthe ground and push with your legs to roick it upright...

Very nice! I slice of life kind of render. I like it! Odd that there's a parking space outlined right in front of a driveway. Is that one of Dreamland's sets?

Yes it is one of Dreamlands Movie sets, I have been blessed with several of his sets over the years, they are nice sets but not everything works well in DAZ Studio, since they were typically made for use in Poser, however, I understand that Dreamland Models now sells stuff through DAZ 3d, so maybe some of the sets have been updated.

Billboards for the background figures... they do work, but the orientation and placement can be tricky..

Thanks.. A Ferrari should be red, but the GTB came in a raft of colors that could be custom orders, including serval shades of blue....

...now that's a beauty.
Thanks.. that impala gave me fits.. the shadows it cast were really weird. Almost as if light were passing through it .. no shadows underneath it ( and yes, cast shadows was on) had to put a phantom plane under it to get shadows free m it.. wheels, no problem.. same hdri setup as the Mustangs, and they worked just fine..
