Changing origin of imported obj

I have imported an obj. The import went smoothly, but the props is not centered at (0,0,0) and is even 5m away from the world origin. The object origin is more or less correct at the center of the object and moving it with joint editor is useless.
I tried to center the object before creating a support asset. When I instantiate it it is properly positionned at the world origin, but it has an absurd translation in the parameters and of course rotations do not work as intended.
I tried a couple of mcasual scripts, but they just do what I realized by hands and it did not change anything.
What can I do to have the object properly centered at the orgin?

Select the joint editor tool and adjust the arrows should do it.
Joint editor as suggested and then resave it.

save is as a.dsa file, it works a treat
Thanks to all. It worked. Actually, I had used joint editor, but did not memorize the rigging and did not do the save/reload
