Genesis 8.1 renders in white

in Technical Help (nuts n bolts)

I haven´t used DAZ in a while (1 year or so) and all the new stuff Genesis 8.1 related is rendering completely white.

I am still running on DAZ 4.12 Pro, Windows 10.

I do not intend to install DAZ Central.

Any help will be appreciated.

    I think the PBR skin shader of genesis 8.1 requires DS 4.15 or above. That may explain the problem.

    Also, you need DS 4.15 for G8.1 to read G8 morphs.

    I thought so. Now I must find the time and patience to install a newer version of DAZ without DAZ Central:)

    But that´s a problem for another time...

    You don't ever have to use Daz Central to intall anything. All your products, including the program are available in your product library. You can however only get the most current version of DS, which is v4.20. https://www.daz3d.com/downloader/customer/files#prod_13176 Make sure you install the Default Resources as well, since that contains the new PBR Shader that 8.1 needs.

    Close the fine and open it again and try again. Workes every time for me.
