Help needed welding mesh

Hello everybody,

I bought the Midnight Light Dancer Outfit (https://www.renderosity.com/rr/mod/bcs/midnight-light-dancer/144106) but unfortunately the mesh of the straps is not connected to the bra and so everything falls apart when simulating with dforce. I welded the straps to the bra in blender but now I get very strange results running dforce (deformations or exploding vertices) although the UV-Mapping seems right.

Can anyone point to a good tutorial or help me with welding this concrete object? This is getting really frustrating :(.

Best regards

I don't see why you would need to dforce the bra, but I would suggest instead of editing the mesh itself, create a Dforce modifer Weight Node and then with the Node Weight Map Brush, paint out the join point between the straps and rest of the bra blue or grey so that they are ignored by dforce. That will keep things from falling apart.

If the mesh density in the bra is to high, then it will explode.

But I agree with above, to use a weight map.
