trying to get lighter skin with pretty-base-next-generation-8-for-genesis-8-female

this skin looks good but has a brownish pale tone to it, I tried to lighten the face it up by bringing the image map itno gimp and applying curves, it made it the face lighter (not much) but since I made it lighter it lacked even more color so I put so red in through base color chanell-a little better but still not the desired result, if I could just make it lighter without losing color that would be good but if somewone can help me on how to make it both lighter and retain A(or add some color in gimp or the base color channel) please let me know, thanks

Take the translucency down to 0.1-0.25 for skin, lips and nails

if anyone is looking for a g8f skin shader this one works better than the others I have tried, it also seems to give the face much more emotional detail

This time changing the translucency the face has a greenish tone, any suggestions?
